Borox is looking for a quality technician for our facility in Eneryda, Älmhult Municipality.
Main tasks
To lead operational quality assurance efforts to ensure that products meet quality requirements throughout the entire production chain.
The role involves working closely with purchasing, preparation, production, planning, and marketing to analyze deviations, address quality issues, and drive improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- To follow Borox’s policies, procedures, and instructions.
- To evaluate and address internal and external quality issues.
- To support production and continuously monitor quality issues.
- Performing inspections of new items and verification measurements of items and fixtures.
- To document control measurements as needed.
- To perform measurements and tests using the appropriate instruments.
- Performing calibrations of measuring instruments.
- Work with suppliers to ensure material quality and follow up on supplier non-conformities.
- Developing and keeping control instructions up to date.
- To contribute to/drive continuous improvement.
- To participate in or lead root cause investigations.
- Preparing 8D/root cause reports.
- Verifying process stability during heat treatment.
This position is part of the Quality Department.
Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in reading drawings and defining technical requirements.
- A solid understanding of production processes and material properties.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a structured approach.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate.
- Driven and dedicated.
- Basic IT skills
- Forklift and overhead crane operation
Language:
- Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
